Green economy
In recent years, Sicredi also evolved in the development of products and ser- vices related to the so-called green economy. The UN Environment Programme has defined Green Economy as “one that results in improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities” and is pillared on low carbon emission, efficient use of resource and social inclusion.
As part of the strategy to insert sustainability in all spheres of business, green economy opportunities have gained special attention from Sicredi, which hopes to generate even more positive impacts in its host regions.
Support for family farming is another of Sicredi’s priorities.
