Sicredi’s first Sustainability Policy was implemented in 2011, with the forma- tion of the Central Sustainability Committee. This gave rise to a new corporate cul- ture in which sustainability assumed a relevant role in the business and operating models of the entire System.
In 2013, in a review of the strategic plan, we jointly decided to include sustainability as a transversal activity. The social and environmental impacts were now considered in all activities, with the establishment of objective, continuous and long- term actions to be applied as part of the push to adopt a sustainability governance program. Three branches were defined for its implementation: products and services, processes and people.
