Athena Award
2018: we earned the Athena Award in recognition of our contribution to the develo- pment of female leaders in credit unions, with a highlight being the Woman Committees. This is the most important award Woccu* attributes to an organization for actions in favor of gender equality.
Growth Award
2018: The Growth Award was granted to the three credit union financial institutions with the highest growth rate in the Woccu member base, among them Sicredi.
2019: We once again earned the Growth Award in recognition of Sicredi’s growth in the credit cooperation segment.
Distinguished Service Award - DSA
2015: nominated by Sicredi, Roberto Rodrigues, special ambassador for the United Nations – UN for credit cooperation in Brazil earned the Woccu DAS Award conside- red the highest honor granted by the global credit union movement to individuals and institutions.
2019: nominated by Sicredi, the OCB (Brazilian Credit Union Organization) earned the DSA Award in recognition for services provided in favor of disseminating the seg- ment in Brazil and abroad.
World Council Young Credit Union Professionals - WYCUP
In 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019, young leaders from Sicredi were awarded by WYCUP for their unique projects in institution credit unions. The WYCUP is geared towards employees and members of credit unions aged up to 35 years old and who de- velop initiatives of economic and social relevance in their host regions.
Highlight at the World Credit Union Conference
In 2013 and 2014, Sicredi was highlighted at the Annual General Assembly for Woccu, held during the World Credit Union Conference, gaining recognition for its grow- th in asset and member numbers.
