by vote at assemblies staged with members, expansion was consolidated at a national level for Sicredi operations, which would then be active in 20 Brazilian states.
Besides furthering our reach within the country, the Sicredi expansion strategy also included an innovative process to integrate the central and credit unions into the System. During the transition phase, they relied on the support of “sponsor credit unions”, affiliated to our four other centrals, which provided full support to the integration, exchanging experiences, providing counsel on several issues and contributing to the dissemination of our culture in the new region of operation. In 2018, with the entire process for migrating independent credit unions to the System, Sicredi Cooperative Central North/Northeast hosted the National Forum of Presidents and Executive Directors, held in Natal/RN.
The migration of the central became a milestone in our history. The integration of different cultures was a sector benchmark, recognized for the adoption of excellent practices in functional changes and standardizing products and processes. And, most
